Christina Adele Higham was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB and has been residing in Montreal, QC since 2009. She graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Distinction, having majored in Painting and Drawing, minoring in Printmaking. While working in a Montreal commercial art gallery as a graphic designer, photographer and administrative assistant, she realized she wanted to turn her life long hobby of taking pictures and playing in Adobe Photoshop into a full time career. She then enrolled in the Dawson College Commercial Photography.
While in university, Christina worked as a server and bartender in busy downtown Montreal pubs, experience that nurtured her fun loving, high octane, fast thinking, smooth talking, observant, outgoing nature—valuable skills that transfer well into the field of commercial photography.
Christina has an immense love for working with people and takes great satisfaction her ability to interpret and exceed the expectations of others. She has the ideal blend of a Fine Arts background, a Canadian prairie work ethic, a compassionate, loving heart and an entrepreneurial mind built for success.
Christina shoots a wide variety of subject matter, including but not limited to portraiture, weddings, real estate, architecture, fashion, concerts and sporting events. Some notable clients include the Montreal Therapy Centre, McGill University Health Centre, Irish Embassy Pub & Grill, Angry Monkey MMA Gym, Sutton Real Estate, Dawson College, Single Momtreal and Nuvei (formerly Pivotal Payments).
